Top 10 Disappointing Movies of 2017 (Till July)

The year 2017 is almost more than half gone. Like many gone years, this time too we have a list of movies which badly disappointed us. There are both small and big budget films in this list. Many movies was unable to grab eyeballs and hence given a bad performance. Among all those movies, here is list of top 10 disappointing movies till July in 2017.

So, lets start with the list here :

Tubelight – So far Earned 106.86 Cr. INR (Expected Lifetime is 120 Cr. INR)

Tubelight was supposed to be one of the biggest grosser of 2017, but unfortunately it is not. Tubelight turned out to be one of the biggest disappointment of bollywood so far. Movie was featuring Salman Khan and Kabir Khan combo but still public declined it and hence is been very disappointing.

Raabta – 25.51 Cr. INR

Everything was right with this movie except the content. Movie featured pair of Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon. The fill had really good production values. Content failed to impress audience and been rejected by public. This been another flop of year 2017.

OK Jaanu – 23.64 Cr. INR

OK Jaanu was remake of tamil drama OK Kamani. However the remake of this story wasn’t able to entertain audience of Pan India. One of the songs “Humma Humma” went successful from this movie and except this, there was not anything which people liked.

Begum Jaan – 20.91 Cr. INR

Begam jaan is again a remake film. It is remake of Rajkahini which is a bengali movie. This movie was a chance for Vidya Balan to make a strong presence in industry but unfortunately it failed. Begum Jaan barely crossed 20 Crore mark.

Rangoon – 20.68 Crore INR

Rangoon was a ambitious project for its entire team. Vishal Bhardwaj tried his best to make it a modern Casablanca but audience was towards the film right from the announcement of movie. This was a expensive movie which afforded to get Shahid, Saif and Kangana. But unfortunately it turned out to be a flop one.

Sarkar 3 – 9.93 Cr. INR

Right from the announcement of the movie, it bringed excitement among audience. Date of release for this film changed several times. When it came out, it wasn’t on the level of Sarkar and Sarkar Raj. Amitabh Bachhan and Ram Gopal Verma seems promosing but failed to entertain people.

Meri Pyaari Bindu – 9.59 Cr. INR

Well, costing of this film saved Yash Raj Films from going into any loss. When this film released in theaters, it failed to even touch mark of Rs.10 Crores. This movie was starring Ayushmann Khurranna and Parineeti Chopra. Couple was good and this movie also left few songs like Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi and Afeemi in our play lists.

Noor – 7.58 Cr. INR

Noor was a film which hadn’t excited industry nor audience about it’s launch. As the result, it didn’t manage to grab any attention and noise when it launched. This was one of the biggest flop of this year.

Bank Chor – 7.40 Cr. INR

This movie is like, nobody knows when it came and when it gone. This movie planned to be launched 2 years before, but due to some reasons it was not released at that time and released recently. Starring Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi. Audience kept it as a cold optiona and then it barely crossed 7 Crore mark.

Machine – 3.14 Cr. INR

Machine was directed by Abbas – Mustan. Abbas – Mustan has given us many super hit movies and now this one. Movie was starring debutant Mustafa who is son of Abbas. This been the biggest flop so far this year. Movie hardly managed to cross 3 Crore mark. This one is a epic disaster in bollywood this year. Though few songs like Itna Tumhe and Cheez Badi will be in our playlists.
